i have been surching for various artist who have created family tree art and i have come across an artist called zhang hujan who has created a family tree on his face and took photos of this i thought this was a quite interesting idea of a family tree and it made sence as it kind of showed his ancesters history and by creating the family tree on his face it showed that he was like the end product .
reli good and original starting point, maybe u could do ur own family tree and work from tht. If it takes too much time and stuff, maybe just investigate name origins- a little more removed but still a major point in ID and then maybe that could stem to foreign languages and how they are developed. Just a thought. I like ur blog =]
